New food site
I'm starting a new food website to track what we're having for dinner and the breakdown in cost per person. As always, this website is dual-stack, meaning available over IPv4 and IPv6.

http://www.onion-cafe.com/

I've got the core display chunk finished (the menu itself), and need to figure out the site's actual layout and overall look. I'll also set up a Pantry area for listing the usual items I keep in stock and their costs (at last purchase). As well as figure out a decent recipe and photo area.

That's pretty neat. I've been trying to figure out a way to track the cost of baking items. Unfortunately, 1/4 tsp. of salt is kind of hard to measure. :D

Yeah, that's why I want to start the pantry area for the everyday stuff like salt, pepper, random spices, marinades, etc. A sort of general bookkeeping of the costs of all the incidentals you'll use, and probably not get factored into the cost per person. I'll treat the sales tax on the receipt as that incidental ingredient cost, for better or worse, since that is what I do my division based on.

If it were to go the restaurant way, you'd list bulk purchases, know how much of X goes into Y dish, and then could also know how many servings of X are in your bulk thing (if you are kinda sorta anal about measurements).

I'm working on the image script page to have a pull-down of previous dinners and generate the menu image from their data in the database.
